We provide a wide range of services across the industrial and heritage boiler sectors, including boiler repairs, maintenance, installation, fabrication, pipework projects, and specialist engineering solutions.

Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and reliable Engineering Labourer / Trainee Engineer to support our experienced engineering team across a variety of interesting and challenging projects.
The Role
The successful candidate will provide essential support to our engineers, helping ensure our workshop, site operations, and projects run efficiently, safely, and to a high standard.
This role is ideal for someone with an interest in engineering who is looking to develop their practical skills and gain experience within a specialist engineering environment. Full training will be provided, with opportunities to progress and undertake further specialist training courses.
You will work alongside our experienced teams across several areas of the business, including:
Service and Repair Work
Supporting our Service Team with:
- Preparation for annual boiler inspections
- Preparation for Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)
- Valve servicing and overhauls
- Valve and pipework repairs
- General maintenance and engineering support
Installation and Fabrication Projects
You will also have the opportunity to support our Installation and Repair Teams on a variety of projects, including:
- Boiler plant installations
- Pipework installation and repairs
- Engineering modifications and improvements
- Projects from initial preparation through to completion
Heritage Engineering
Working alongside our Heritage Team, you will gain experience in traditional and specialist repair techniques, including methods that are becoming increasingly rare within modern industry.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting engineers with day-to-day tasks on-site and in the workshop
- Preparing tools, materials, and equipment for projects
- Loading, unloading, and transporting materials
- Collecting and delivering parts and equipment when required
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
- Supporting engineers during repairs, installations, and maintenance activities
- Carrying out general labouring duties to assist project completion
- Following company health and safety procedures at all times
Working Away and Travel Requirements
The role will primarily be based at our works in Cowling, West Yorkshire; however, occasional travel and working away across the UK will be required.
The length of time away will depend on the project requirements, but will generally involve short periods away from home, usually Monday to Friday. Occasional weekend working may also be required to support customer requirements, planned shutdowns, specialist installations, or time-sensitive projects.
Additional benefits are available for working away, including travel support, allowances, and food expenses.

Requirements
- Full UK driving licence is essential
- Must be able to reliably commute to our works in Cowling, West Yorkshire, or plan to relocate before starting work
- Comfortable with practical, hands-on work

We are a well-established specialist engineering company delivering mechanical engineering, industrial boiler maintenance, steam system services and heritage engineering projects across the UK.
Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a Mechanical / Service Engineer to join our experienced engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated engineer looking to develop specialist skills within a diverse and rewarding role.
The Role
The successful candidate will primarily work on planned and reactive maintenance contracts for industrial boiler plant and steam systems. The role also offers the opportunity to become involved in boiler repairs, mechanical installations, pipework projects and specialist heritage engineering work.
This is a varied, hands-on position involving both workshop and site-based work throughout the UK. Occasional overnight stays will be required.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, maintenance and repair of industrial boiler plants
- Prepare boiler plant for statutory annual inspections
- Prepare components for Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)
- Overhaul and refurbish industrial valves
- Carry out mechanical repairs to valves and industrial pipework
- Install and modify mechanical plant and associated pipework
- Assist with boiler repair and refurbishment projects
- Undertake general mechanical fitting and fabrication duties
- Work safely and professionally in accordance with company procedures and site requirements
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and customer service
Candidate Requirements
Essential
- Previous experience working in a mechanical engineering or industrial maintenance environment
- Experience working on industrial sites
- Full UK driving licence
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible approach to working hours and UK travel, including occasional overnight stays
- Reside within a reasonable travelling distance of our workshop near Keighley, West Yorkshire
Desirable
- Experience working on steam systems
- Experience maintaining industrial boilers or process plant
- Valve overhaul and repair experience
- Pipefitting or mechanical fitting experience
- Welding or fabrication skills (advantageous but not essential)
- Knowledge of pressure systems or industrial process equipment
